Is waxing painful?
Its important to clarify that waxing is not always painful. The pain is temporary and will vary from person to person, depending on pain tolerance. When you attend a waxing appointment in the future, it won't even be something to be concerned about.

Is it safe to wax during pregnancy?
Waxing during pregnancy is generally safe. Hormones can cause an increase in hair growth during pregnancy, which can result in more sensitivities. Before getting waxed there are some things you may want to consider, such as getting waxed by a wax professional in a clean environment and not applying wax if you have certain skin conditions. If you're pregnant, it's always best to consult your doctor. Overall, waxing is safe so wax away new Mommy!
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
In order to get the highest results from waxing, your hair needs to be long enough (approx. the length of a grain of rice) to adhere to and be pulled out by the roots. Keep the area clean and dry, free of oils. 24 to 48 hours before your waxing appointment, exfoliate the area to be waxed. Avoid the following things at your wax appointment to achieve the best results: Caffine, alcohol.
